In June, 2021 Brevard City Council approved a Resolution Authorizing the City of Brevard to serve as Lead Agency for the development of the Ecusta Trail in Transylvania County.
In December, 2021 the City Council established the Brevard/Transylvania County Ecusta Trail Advisory Board to oversee the financing, design and construction of the Ecusta Trail in Transylvania County. The Board’s membership will include officials from the City and County, officials from various agencies involved in the development of the Ecusta Trail, and two At-Large Citizen Appointments.
Brevard City Council is accepting applications for the two At-Large positions. Applications are available on the City’s website cityofbrevard.com or you may contact City Clerk Jill Murray at 885-5614 or by email at Jill.Murray@cityofbrevard.com.
Completed applications should be returned to City Hall and will be presented to City Council for their consideration.
