[ARCHIVED] Leaf Collection Begins!


The Sanitation Division will begin loose leaf collection on Monday, October 11, 2021.

  • Place loose leaves on the edge of the street or sidewalk.
  • Leaves must be free of sticks or limbs.
  • Do not place leaves on water meter boxes, valves or near fire hydrants.
  • Do not place leaves in the gutter or on a storm drain.

Bags will be removed within three (3) business days by calling Public Works at 828-884-2171, Option 4.
