Please be advised of scam emails claiming to be from the City of Brevard. These emails have an attachment of a supposed account statement that requires a password, provided in the email, to open.
The subject line of these emails says ***UNCHECKED*** Your month Statement, or something similar. Also, look for spelling and grammar errors such as "Cityofbrevard" instead of "City of Brevard."
If you get an email like this, DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT and delete the email.
Legitimate emails about your utility billing account will be from email addresses ending in "@mygovhub.com" or "@cityofbrevard.com" and will provide a link to view your bill, not an attachment to view your statement.
